About Us .... Our Story .... The WHY
After resigning my collegiate career as Department Head of Microbiology & Medical Chemistries, I became an entrepreneur for the first time. I jumped in head first and budgeted all I had saved from 4-years at my job. I was told "are you crazy?" "Are you nuts?" "Giving up a good job!" by everyone except my parents who paid for my 6-years of education to get a Masters in Laboratory Medicine.
They encouraged me to go after my dreams ....
..... So we did.
By the grace of God, I took a hobby and opened a retail store and we made it and beat the odds (there is a bigger story here of trial and error and time). I was free from having a boss (or so I thought). 3-years later, my wife was free. I knew nothing about business or marketing, timing, yet I was a sponge to learn. 20-years later I sold to my employees and walked away with a successful exit and a chunk of change in the bank.
My wife and I were happy. We went to Europe for a while (Thank You, Jesus). My goal when I started our business was to semi-retire at 45. I was free at 48 ... not too bad. Watch this - watch this => after 2 years we became bored. I still had plenty of get-up-n-go, and I wanted to help more people (I would learn later it is really SERVE more people). My bride was also getting antsy.
I applied and was hired as the only sales guy for a new start-up online Internet Service Provider. This was 1997 and there was not much online yet, however I just knew it was the future and everyone wanted to get on the Internet. I knew absolutely nothing about Internet technology, WAN, LAN, Bandwidth, routers, etc. at that time ... yet I was willing to learn and I was a sponge for information. *** NOTICE A PATTERN HERE? *** The president of the company and the 3-geeks that ran the network took me under their wing. I learned a ton and was very successful with that company. Top sales earner over the now 5 person sales team ... all 5-years of my employ.
Let me unpack crash #1. All that ended in 2001 when the tech industry crashed after 911. The company closed and put over 400 people out of work with no jobs in that space at the time. Fortunately, I had been turned on to online business about 8 months before and was beginning to see some traction. While I worked on my business, my bride took a job as the #2 key-holder at a local Staples big box store. Watch this => the #2 key-holder means she closed the night shift. We almost never saw each other. Can you relate? After a while, we were able to get her free as well. Not big bucks, yet enough and growing (you should ask me about the white limousine story).
Let me unpack crash #2. Then the rug got pulled out from under us. Our networking team leaders (the guys with the big bucks) decided to leave the company and move on to another. We lost our business and our cash-flow. After the 6-month waiting period (was buried in the agreement ... who knew), the Team joined another company just 3-years old (hint here). Start all over again, yet we now had moved to Phoenix Arizona and 5 million new people to share with. Then, wouldn't you know, the other company was in trouble during the crash of 2008-2009 and got bought by another company. Lost business again and the new company is everything you can hear in a 5-min video on the 80/20 rule: prices way over-the-top, unable to keep customers long-term as new budgets for most people on stuff they never bought before. (More on this if you want).
Fast forward. My bride was diagnosed with an incurable disease in 2000 and was on a slow decline (takes years). We were told that eventually, it would rear its ugly head. And it did.
Let me unpack crash #3. In 2012 and 2013, my sweet wife was rushed to the ER twice. 1st time was for too rapid a heart rate. And with 2-drug injections, they were able to stop her heart briefly and let it reset to normal. Yes! For 4-seconds my bride was dead on the ER table as I watched, helpless (Talk about emotional !!). She needed a surgical procedure where they scoped her heart by tiny wire scopes in her leg veins and found 6 electrical circuits. You are supposed to have 1 circuit. Using a laser on the scopes they burned off the other 5 and that fixed the problem permanently. Praise God and to Him be all the glory !!
The 2nd time, Lori was bleeding to death from veins in her esophagus (her liver issue) while sleeping and I was at my PC working. Found her at 1 AM with blood everywhere in our bedroom, on her PJ's, in her hair and face and all over the floor and she had no clue. Intense emotion !! Ambulance to the ER! She had a hemoglobin of 3.8. The ICU nurses said at 5.0 they considered you dead. Thanks to the quick analysis by the ER doc, 7-units of blood in 10 minutes saved her life. I will skip all the details, yet the bottom line is my bride would need her veins in her esophagus banded (or clamped off) every 2-3 months (at $3,000 ea time ... out of pocket) to stop the bleeding and get a liver transplant ... if we could get her on the list. Holy molly!!
We quickly changed our food habits to way healthier and added a full range of nutritional supplements, so my girl could fight back and prolong the surgery. And we did well, yet she was still symptomatic and uncomfortable. We discovered that the Southeast Region of the USA had a lower threshold to get on the list and we were encouraged by our Phoenix liver specialists to go there if we were able. We made the decision immediately. We began by asking God's guidance. Sold our lovely home with a resort backyard. Said goodbye to all our friends and church family of 13 years and moved to Florida to a small apartment where 2 of the top 10 hospitals for her condition are located. I mean, she's my girl !! ❤️️ We are near one of them as I type, and my girl is holding steady. Must be something to do with the beach. 😊
The point you can read in all of this is we did not and we don't give up. The path may be in sand, yet the goals remain in concrete. Remember this when evaluating something and who you want to engage with.
Over the Christmas and New Year holiday season, I was invited to watch 4, documentary series, each 7-days. One was on Medical Cannabis, one on Autoimmune Disorders, one on the gut microbiome and one on stem cells. Powerful and loaded with information we had never been exposed to. I quickly told my older sister about Medical Cannabis as relief for her Parkinson's Disease and we found a doctor in her state working with this medicinal plant for her. Cannabis is legal in that state. The autoimmune series was so on target for my bride as it related to her autoimmune issue that, we learned, was the probable pathway to her liver issue. What can I say about the gut microbiome? It controls everything in our body for health !! And with stem cells, there is hope to regenerate tissue, Why no one mentioned this before we have learned that the docs mostly just don't know much about root causes. Not their fault (totally) as they are trained in symptom medicine. And big pharma has big $$$ to fight you getting well.
We also learned from these series is that autoimmune disorders are the triggers for long-term chronic disease, yet, they are reversible and even preventable and your own tissues can be regenerated, easily. Go figure. The steps are rather simple and repeated by all the doctors in all the series:
And wouldn't you know that at the same time of all this, a friend and colleague in California was talking about a fabulous, untapped resource for safer, healthier and toxic free home products and cosmetics free of heavy metals. They have been in business for over 35 years and are the manufacturer and ship directly to the customer. Made in The USA. They have an online wellness shopping club with a yearly membership of $19 (way less than Costco or Sam's Club) and with a 30%-50% discount for monthly shopping loyalty. I said, gee, none of the "shopping clubs we pay $60-$100/year are giving a loyalty shopping discount ... and they only sell the toxic stuff anyway. The clincher: NO NEW MONEY, NO NEW BUDGET REQUIRED! Imagine that.
My bride and I made another decision immediately. New Years weekend we replaced all the stuff in our home. Done! Better stuff. At a discount. and safer and healthier. O.M.G. It's a no-brainer, especially moms for their kids and your grand-kids sake? And saves money. 🤷
Needless to say, my bride is happier as she knows we are on the path to reverse or significantly reduce her autoimmune disorder which lead to her liver issue and maybe ... all her doctors at Mayo Clinic agreed to getting rid of toxins as well as better nutrition. "The better/healthier my girl was going into a $1/2 million operation.....The better the outcome !! Praise God !! UPDATE. The liver transplant had to happen and has been so successful. The doctors say that getting rid of toxins and better food played a significant role in my gal's success. Praise God !!
Of course there is much more to this story as you may have guessed. More about my gal's issues, a T-bone to us car accident that threw us for a loop, how we got here, etc. Yet, this is long enough. Even though the documentary series is gone, I did manage to snag most of the episodes. AMAZING INFORMATION !! Happy to share those episodes and help make your home safer and healthier for your family. You can get more info here

We also learned from these series is that autoimmune disorders are the triggers for long-term chronic disease, yet, they are reversible and even preventable and your own tissues can be regenerated, easily. Go figure. The steps are rather simple and repeated by all the doctors in all the series:
- 1st, get rid of the toxins and heavy metals in your home and lifestyle. We had no idea that the stuff we used to clean our home, wash our clothes, wash our dishes, wash our hands, wash our body and more, contained chemicals banned in most of Europe and other countries. Who Knew !! (yeah, we know “who knew” ☹️ ) And we also learned that prolonged exposure, by breathing and skin contact, over decades was the culprit to my bride's disease issues and usually triggers autoimmune disorders which leads to worse diseases.
- 2nd was to get better food and better food habits. Does not need to be all organic, yet as much as possible and the rest all natural and washed well before eating. Meats should be free-range as much as possible as well with no added hormones, antibiotics or other stuff. Your plate should be around 30%-40% dark leafy green plants and low-carb as much as possible. Smoothies and green powders can substitute (Paleo or Keto food plans).
- 3rd, was to get some good quality supplements to get better nutrition as the soil in the USA, even organic to some degree, is depleted and the plants do not have the same quantity or quality of nutrition.
- 4th, move your body, often and see a Functional Medicine doctor and get evaluated and tested for nutrition gaps or deficiencies to get at the root cause of the inflammation. It seems that INFLAMMATION is the precursor of most, if not all disease and chronic illness ... and it can be fixed. Inflammation is mostly caused by the constant attack of toxic chemicals to your body.
And wouldn't you know that at the same time of all this, a friend and colleague in California was talking about a fabulous, untapped resource for safer, healthier and toxic free home products and cosmetics free of heavy metals.
